Is it Scotch or Whisky or Whiskey?

The term Scotch whisky is whisky made in Scotland.

There are five categories for the whisky:

Single Malt Scotch

Single Grain Scotch

Blended Malt Scotch

Blended Grain Scotch

Blended Whisky Scotch

Whisky that is blended must be indicated by the youngest whisky in the blend. A whisky showing an age mark is a guaranteed age whisky.

Is it "The Whisky" or "The Whiskey"? Actually both. In Scotland it is Whisky and in Ireland, Whiskey. The spelling differences are related to the Gaelic forms from Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic.
